In 2013 there was considerable flooding in parts of Cambodia. Through our community development net work we heard of a family that had lost their traditional small Cambodian home and all their possessions as a result of flood
and were sleeping in the open. The father of the family was blind and had never worked. The 15 year old daughter had left school to support the family and was working long hours in a textile factory. The Mother was in extremely malnourished and in poor health.. There was also a 7 year old boy and 9 month old baby. SSSP built them a small traditional house. We also provided a bike and commenced the boy at school providing books uniform and school fees.
