2014 continuing – Primary Health Care Clinics

We commenced visiting the urban Phnom Penh slums at the end of 2014. In 2015 we were invited by women from an urban slum welfare group to hold free primary health care clinics in the slums.

We were surprised at the degree of malnutrition and aneamia present in the children. We ran a three month feeding program in  205 for eleven children identified as being severely malnourished. They were also wormed and treated with multivitamins and iron.
