Carmel Horsburg is a Midwife and Neo Natal Care Nurse. She has thirty five years’ exper
ience in remote and rural areas. She lives in a Victorian country town with her husband Bruce. Her special Midwifery interest is on women’s emotional birth experience and creating a safe outcome for both mother and baby.
Prior to volunteering with SSSP in Prey Kebas 2014 she had volunteered in PNG. She said that this experience ignited her interest in other cultural birthing and mothering practices. Her skills and advice about projects at Prey Kebas were appreciated.
